Bridget Hustwaite explores Coburg community gems on POSTCARDS

City laneways, waterfront cafes and treetop adventures are all on the itinerary as Postcards heads across Melbourne and beyond this weekend.

This week’s episode keeps the local getaway ideas coming, taking viewers from Docklands and the CBD to Coburg and the Mornington Peninsula.

Guest presenter Bridget Hustwaite returns to the team as the group continues uncovering neighbourhood favourites and hidden gems across Victoria.

Madeline Spark explores the Docklands waterfront, discovering a lively mix of cafes, lunch spots and creative spaces among the high rise buildings and stadium crowds.

In the Melbourne CBD, Livinia Nixon embraces a dessert first philosophy with Filipino inspired donuts at Pecks Road before stopping by the industrial chic Krimper Cafe and finishing at Maha with fellow Postcards presenter Shane Delia.

Guest presenter Bridget Hustwaite heads north to Coburg where Nicholson Street delivers community vibes, coffee and cake at Big Elma, a visit to the inclusive record store Feminista Vinyl, and a relaxed finish at Sweet Nectar Inn.

Meanwhile Brodie Harper makes a coastal escape to the Mornington Peninsula, kicking off with beachside smoothies at Safety Beach before tackling the treetop tree surfing course at Enchanted Adventure in Arthurs Seat.

She rounds out the day in Red Hill at The Epicurean, a beautifully restored coolstore offering a quieter moment with peppermint tea and something sweet.
