Pindiz Fast Bowler Likely to Miss PSL 11 Due to Injury

Pindiz star pacer Zaman Khan is facing a race against time ahead of the 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) after suffering a right-shoulder injury during the ongoing National T20 Cup, an issue that could rule him out of the tournament.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed on Friday that the 24-year-old sustained a dislocation of the acromioclavicular joint (ACJ) in his right shoulder while fielding in the National T20 Cup match between Peshawar and Faisalabad at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium.

In an update, the PCB said Zaman will report to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore on Saturday (14 March), where the PCB medical team will conduct further assessments and decide the next steps for his recovery and rehabilitation plan.

“Fast bowler Zaman Khan sustained a dislocation of Acromioclavicular Joint (ACJ) on his right shoulder while fielding during the Faisalabad v Peshawar fixture in the ongoing National T20 Cup in Peshawar,” the board said, adding that his rehab roadmap will be finalized after consultation with the medical staff at the NCA.

The injury comes at a difficult time, just 12 days before PSL 11 is set to begin. Zaman was retained by debutants Pindiz in the Gold category, but his availability is now uncertain as the franchise prepares for its first season.

Pindiz are scheduled to begin their PSL 11 campaign on 28 March with a day match against Peshawar Zalmi at the same venue, though it remains unclear whether Zaman will be fit in time to feature.
