Ali Abbas On Why Waseem Abbas Did Not Support His Acting

Ali Abbas is an actor who started his career nearly a decade ago. He is the son of veteran star Waseem Abbas and grandson of Inayat Hussain Bhatti. The star is also known for his own natural way of bringing characters to the screen and he has a dedicated fan following. He was a guest on Zabardast by Wasi Shah and spoke about his father’s opposition to his acting passion.

Ali Abbas shared that he is a very happy person. He is happy with his financial positioning too as he never thinks that he needs a bigger car or a bigger house. He is happy with where he is at today and loves how he has managed to overcome rejections and obstacles to reach this position. He added that he is self-made and his father had told him that he will not help him or call anyone on his behalf thus his current success keeps him satisfied.

Ali Abbas also spoke about how Waseem Abbas himself was an actor but he still opposed Ali Abbas’s acting and wanted him to take the CSS exam. He shared that this was the same case with his father and grandfather. He feels it is not okay how parents push you towards something as a profession which you are not passionate about. But now he understands, how this profession is not stable and no parent wants to see their child struggle when they have seen the same struggles in their own time. Therefore, his father was probably not too keen on him becoming an actor.
