The Southie Cup at Broadway Golf
Join Broadway Golf in a tournament to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day! The tournament will be held on Saturday, March 14th. It is $300 for team entry for a team of 4. There will also be raffles, prizes, food, and music. Not playing? Still stop by to enjoy a fun time.
St. Paddy’s Day Road Race
Edgerley Family South Boston Boys and Girls Club will be organizing a St. Patrick’s Day 5K on Sunday, March 15th. The race will start at 9am. The route is along East and West Broadway with a turnaround at the Farragut Statue! It is a perfect way to start your parade day celebrations! To make it even better, 100% of the proceeds will benefit teen programs at the Boys and Girls Club! Sign up and get all the info here! They are still looking for volunteers too!

St. Patrick’s Day Flower Flash Friday
We are teaming up with Love Child to kick off parade weekend and celebrate our community with flowers! There will be three different locations where you can grab free flowers! There will also be one pot of gold filled with goodies from small businesses in Southie! The locations will be revealed on Friday, March 13th with clues via Love Child’s Instagram! Follow them so you don’t miss out!
Plus Love Child will be hosting a special Parade Pre-Game Party on Friday from 4:00-6:30pm featuring a lineup of amazing women-owned, local vendors to help get you parade ready. It’s free to stop by, shop, sip something festive, and soak up the good vibes.

Tune In – It’s the St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast
The 2026 St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast will take place Sunday morning, March 15, at the Ironworkers Union Hall, 195 Old Colony Avenue in South Boston. Beginning at 9:00 a.m., Senator Collins will serve as host, welcoming international, national, state, and local elected officials, faith leaders, and military leaders, including Irish Minister of Defense, Foreign Affairs and Trade Helen McEntee, Archbishop Richard Henning of the Catholic Archdiocese of Boston, leaders of the Irish Defense Forces, the Massachusetts National Guard, the USS Barnum, and the USS Massachusetts. Dalton & The Sheriffs St. Paddy’s Homecoming
Dalton & The Sheriffs are returning to Southie for a show at PKL. They will be performing Friday, March 13th and Saturday, March 14th (sold out) and doors will open at 7pm. It will be solo acoustic style, throwing it back to early 2010’s Country Sunday days! Get tickets here!
Clover’s St. Patrick’s Day Party

Woods School of Irish Dance Performances
To get everyone into the festive spirit on parade weekend, The Woods School of Irish Dance will be performing all over town! Starting Saturday at 12pm, they will make their way down Broadway stopping into restaurants along the way! They will be performing at Loco, Lincoln, Capo, Hunters, English’s, Playwright, The Broadway, Roza Lyons, L Street Tavern, and The Seapoint. Make sure to be on the lookout for the best and cutest dancers around!
PKL St. Patrick’s Day Family Event
PKL is hosting a family friendly St. Patrick’s Day Party on Saturday, March 14th from 12-4pm. There will be a kids pickleball court, crafts, and an Irish step dancing performance. And don’t worry there will be cocktails for adults. RSVP here!
Buttercream Boston St. Paddy’s Day Pop-up at Cannonball Cafe
Buttercream Boston will be selling their delicious cakes at Cannonball Cafe on Saturday, March 14th at 9am. Shamrock Showdown
Join the Timothy “Doc” Cook Scholarship Foundation on Friday, March 13th, and Saturday, March 14th, at the Murphy Rink for the Shamrock Showdown hockey game, where Boston Fire and friends of Tim Cook will take the ice. This is a free event to support the fight to raise awareness for those who suffer from the invisible wounds of PTSD.
