The latest trailer has been revealed for the upcoming Candy Caries stop-motion TV anime series, which highlights the show’s main theme song. The anime will air in Japan on April 15, 2026 on TBS’s Yoru no Brunch variety program.
Japanese four-member girl group IS:SUE is singing the anime’s main theme song “Telepathy,” which is highlighted in the new trailer.
Tomoki Misato (Pui Pui Molcar Season 1 director) is directing the anime at the TORUKU from WIT STUDIO stop-motion animation studio. Other staff include Chiaki Nishiaka as scriptwriter and Keigo Hoashi (Summer Time Rendering co-music composer) as music composer. Misato and WIT Studio are also credited with the original work.
Meanwhile, the anime’s voice cast includes:

Candy Caries debuted as an original promotional video in 2021 after the launch of TORUKU in December 2020. Misato directed the promotional video, with Kenta Yamada (The Girl from the Other Side 2019 line producer) as animation producer. Masaaki Tanaka (Attack on Titan Season 3 animation director) was in charge of the 2D animation and Yutaka Yamada (Vinland Saga) composed the video’s music.
