The upcoming Magical Sisters LuluttoLilly TV anime has gotten a second main trailer and an April 5 broadcast premiere date. It was also announced that it will have two split cours.
Additionally, it was revealed that the ending song is “Calling,” performed by the LuluttoLilly unit comprising the two lead character Lilly and Lulu. There are new cast announcements too:

• Megumi Ohara as Shio Nonoyama
• Aya Endo as Mari Hinoura
Magical Sisters LuluttoLilly sees sisters Fu and Rui Nonoyama separately obtaining magical powers, allowing them to transform into older bodies. Fu becomes able to transform into CompatoLilly, while Rui can turn into MashuLulu. However, the magic will last for only a year, and its existence can’t be revealed to other people. Thus, the sisters, who are of different ages and no longer as close as they were, operate as idols while being unaware of each other’s secrets.
Magical Sisters LuluttoLilly is part of the Pierrot Magical Girl Series umbrella and is its first new title in a while. Previous Pierrot Magical Girl Series titles include 1983-1984’s Magical Angel Creamy Mami, 1984-1985’s Persia, the Magic Fairy, 1985-1986’s Magical Emi, the Magic Star, 1986’s Pastel Yumi, the Magic Idol, and 1998’s Fancy Lala.
