Zabeel 2 take Nad Al Sheba 3×3 basketball title
Zabeel 2 were crowned men’s champions in the 3×3 basketball competition at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament in Dubai.
Zabeel 1 finished runners-up, while Bowlers took third place in the men’s open category.
In the women’s competition, Fire Squad claimed the title. Cinderella Stories were second and Steelers ended in third.
Dubai Hops Elite won the Under-17 division, with Wildcats finishing runners-up and Last Shot taking third.
The basketball event formed part of the wider Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament, one of Dubai’s biggest annual Ramadan sporting events, staged at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex.
Organisers said the matches were closely contested throughout the competition, with several games staying in the balance until the closing moments. The event also drew strong support from spectators across the tournament.
The winners were honoured by Khalfan Belhoul, vice chairman of Dubai Sports Council. He was joined at the presentation by Saeed Hareb, secretary general of Dubai Sports Council, Hassan Al Mazrouei, tournament director, and Issa Sharif, director of events at Dubai Sports Council.
The 3×3 competition has become one of the regular attractions of the Nad Al Sheba programme, alongside volleyball and other Ramadan events held across the tournament.
