The Classroom of a Black Cat and a Witch TV anime is set to begin airing on April 12, and will run for two consecutive cours. A second main trailer was released along with the broadcast info reveals.
The Classroom of a Black Cat and a Witch is based on the manga by Yosuke Kaneda. The premise sees magicless apprentice witch Spica Virgo encountering a mysterious cat, with whom she forms a master-pupil relationship. Additionally, the cat is afflicted with a curse, and dispelling it requires kissing the cat’s anus.
The manga debuted in Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket in March 2022 and will release its 14th volume on March 9, 2026 (JST). K Manga has the manga in English.
