Inducted into the Air Force in the early 2000s, the Sukhoi Su-30 MKI aircraft are considered one of the most capable frontline combat aircraft. The twin-engine, multirole fighter jet is developed by Russia and is a mix of Indian, French, and Israeli avionics and weapon systems. The aircraft is aided by thrust-vectoring engines and advanced flight control systems that allow it to perform complex aerial manoeuvres.

The production of this aircraft in Russia began in 2000 after New Delhi asked Moscow to manufacture 140 Su-30 fighter aircraft. The first aircraft was inducted into the air force in 2002, and since then, the number has only increased with time. Today, the Su-30 holds the largest share in the Air Force.

This is a developing story. It will be updated.
