JAKKS Pacific and its costume division, Disguise, have announced a new licensing agreement with VIZ Media, as well as a partnership extension with Aniplex.
The company’s partnership with VIZ Media will include the designing, manufacturing, and marketing of action figures, playsets, role-play items, and costumes based on the Naruto anime series. All products will be sold in the U.S. and Canada and be released to retailers sometime in spring 2027.
Additionally, JAKKS Pacific’s partnership extension with Aniplex confirms the distribution of new Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba costumes, toys, collectibles, and accessories. Some of the planned products include tech accessories and collectibles, as well as scale figures measuring at 2.5” and 3.75” and playsets for 3.75” scale figures.
Disguise will also continue to distribute Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba costumes under its extended partnership with Aniplex Inc.
JAKKS Pacific first announced the creation of an “anime, manga, and digital creator cultural platform” at the end of last February. It previously confirmed licensing agreements with Crunchyroll and Cover CORP for their hololive English brand.
