The TV anime sequel to the BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica – The Die is Cast – shows will begin airing in January 2027. The announcement came with a trailer featuring illustrations of MyGO!!!!!’s Tomori and Ave Mujica’s Uika.
The news comes after the January reveal that the BanG Dream! Ave Mujica prima aurora anime movie will begin screening in fall 2026.
It’s MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica premiered in 2023 and 2024, respectively. Both TV anime are part of the female band-themed BanG Dream! multimedia franchise, which began in 2015 with a manga series. Crunchyroll describes their respective synopses as such:

The best way to fit in at a new school? Start a band! Anon has just transferred to Haneoka Girls’ Academy where girl bands are all the rage. But she started school late, so there aren’t many girls left to recruit. Then she meets her first friend and Haneoka’s misfit, Tomori, who’s hesitant to join. Still, Anon is determined to persuade Tomori and experience the true power of friendship and music.
Ave Mujica – The Die is Cast –
Sakiko Togawa created the successful band, Ave Mujica, by recruiting its members. Alongside Uika Misumi, Mutsumi Wakaba, Umiri Yahata, and Nyamu Yutenji, Sakiko wonders why she should shoulder the responsibility of keeping the band going.
Another new BanG Dream! anime, BanG Dream! Yume Mita, will begin broadcasting in the Summer 2026 anime season. This series will follow the Mugendai Mewtype band,
