A teaser trailer for the fourth season of Laid-Back Camp has been revealed, along with a 2027 broadcast start date and a teaser visual.
The new season of the comfy, camping-themed anime is directed by Shin Tosaka (reprising from Season 3) at FuRyu Pictures. The animation studio came into being in 2025 as a wholly owned subsidiary of entertainment company FuRyu Corporation via an incorporation-type company split. The parent company has been involved in the making of anime as a production committee member.

Other announced staff include Pierre Sugiura/Masafumi Sugiura (reprising from Season 3) as series composer, Ryuta Ura (Brave Bang Bravern! sub-character designer) as character designer, and Akiyuki Tateyama (reprising) as music composer.
It was also revealed that the opening song will be sung by Asaka, while the ending song will be sung by Eri Sasaki. The Kimi no Ne unit is singing the “series theme.”
Laid-Back Camp is based on the Houbunsha-published manga by Afro. Yen Press describes the manga as such:
Rin enjoys camping by the lakeshore, Mt. Fuji in view. Nadeshiko rides her bike to see Mt. Fuji, too. As the two eat cup noodles together, what scenery will they behold? This series will make readers fall in love with camping!
Laid-Back Camp Season 4 was announced in 2024, the same year as Season 3’s debut. The first two seasons premiered in 2018 and 2021. There is also a 2022 anime movie that depicts the adult versions of the main cast and a 2020 anime adaptation of the Room Camp spin-off.
Yoshiaki Kyogoku (Yatagarasu) directed the previous anime up till Laid–Back Camp Movie, with C-Station producing. Season 3 was produced by Eight Bit.
The manga began in 2015 and has 18 volumes as of 2025. The manga was first serialized in Manga Time Kirara Forward but is currently running in the COMIC FUZ app.
