During an online panel at this year’s Citrus Con digital convention, Red String Manga announced the license acquisition of two new manga titles: The Elf Husband and Dwarf Wife and Funny Bone.

The Elf Husband and Dwarf Wife
Story and Art: Yoshika Komatsu
The Elf Husband and Dwarf Wife will launch as a weekly simulpub, starting March 22, 2026, exclusively on the Omoi manga service.
Synopsis:
“Who cares if our races and cultures are different. We got married anyway!”
Introducing a heartwarming story about the relationship between one talkative male elf, and one buff female dwarf!
Funny Bone
Story and Art: Arakata
The first volume will be released on March 22, 2026.
Description:
Childhood friends turned manzai comedians from commercial BL artist @arakata0423.You will laugh, you will cry, you will question “why Japanese people, why?”
The publisher also confirmed an update for Nishu’s I’ll See You At Ebisu Studios manga, which will also be released on March 22, 2026. All prints of the English version will include an exclusive art card drawn by the manga creator.
Red String Manga is an indie manga publisher based in Japan that focuses on releasing non-commercial manga titles in English. It is involved in direct-hire translations for manga creators, crowdfunding, and “casual publishing.” A new blog site for the publisher’s news and updates was also launched.
