Taylor Sheridan is swapping frontier grit for family heartbreak, with a new drama that serves as a modern day expansion of the Yellowstone universe, leaning into loss, love and some seriously scenic real estate.
Paramount+ has unveiled the official trailer and key art for The Madison, a six-part drama starring award-winning actors Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell.
Created by Sheridan, the series centres on a grieving New York family who relocate to Montana’s Madison River valley, where personal wounds collide with a very different way of life.

The project marks one of Sheridan’s most intimate stories to date, unfolding between Manhattan’s pace and Montana’s wide open calm.
Set against sweeping landscapes and shifting family dynamics, the drama follows the Clyburn family as they navigate grief, connection and the ties that hold them together even when everything else falls apart.
The trailer leans heavily into emotion over action, positioning the series as a character-driven counterpart to Sheridan’s more rugged titles.
Pfeiffer leads an extensive ensemble that also includes Patrick J. Adams, Matthew Fox, Beau Garrett, Elle Chapman, Kevin Zegers, Amiah Miller, Danielle Vasinova and Will Arnett.
Behind the scenes, the series is produced by Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios and Bosque Ranch Productions, with Christina Alexandra Voros directing all six episodes.
Already confirmed for a second season, the show signals Paramount+’s continued investment in Sheridan’s growing television universe, alongside the new Yellowstone spin-off Marshals starring Luke Grimes arriving from March 2.
