A fourth new trailer and character visuals have been revealed for the Record of Ragnarok III anime series, which will begin broadcasting on Japanese television on April 3, 2026. All 15 episodes of the third season began streaming on Netflix on December 10, 2025.
The latest trailer also showcases the third season’s opening theme song “Dead or Alive” by Japanese rock band Glay.
Six new character visuals from Record of Ragnarok III were also released for the following characters: Hades, Beelzebub, Apollo, Qin Shi Huang, Nikola Tesla, and King Leonidas.
Koichi Hatsumi (Tokyo Revengers) is directing Record of Ragnarok III, with Yasuyuki Muto (Tokyo Revengers) as series composer, and Yoko Tanabe (How I Attended an All-Guy’s Mixer) and Hisashi Kawashima (previous seasons’ co-sub-character designer, Pretty Rhythm: Aurora Dream) as character designers. Yumeta Company (who handled the animation production since Season 2, which was previously co-produced with Graphinica) and MARU Animation are in charge of the animation production.

The anime’s first season was released in 2021, while the second season was released in 2023 in two parts. Both seasons are currently streaming on Netflix.
Record of Ragnarok is based on the adventure action manga series, which is written by Shinya Umemura and illustrated by Azychika, with Takumi Fukui handling the composition. It began serialization in Coamix’s Monthly Comic Zenon on November 25, 2017 and has released 26 tankobon volumes as of November 2025. The manga also inspired three spinoff titles.
