Sarah Omair is a renowned Pakistani television actress who began working in dramas at a very young age. Her first serial was Thora Sa Aasma for PTV in 2008. Sarah Omair’s other notable dramas include Roug, Dhol, Barh, Dhaani, Kathputli, and Maaye Nee. She also won Desi Kuriyaan, a season that aired on ARY Digital. Sarah remained a prominent name until 2014 but disappeared from the media industry after marrying famous Pakistani director Mohsin Talat; the couple has two sons.
Recently, Sarah Omair appeared on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast, where she took a U-turn on her previous statements about divorce. In the podcast, she mentioned her husband multiple times and avoided using the term “ex-husband.” She also said that men are the biggest assets in women’s life.
While talking about her husband, Sarah Omair said, “I regret ignoring my husband’s career advice because, due to not taking it, I experienced setbacks in my career. Now I make sure to discuss all my roles with him.”
She further added, “I don’t have any friends in the industry except Mohsin. My true friend became my husband and the father of my kids.”
On another occasion, Sarah Omair said, “I fear losing my relationships—be it with my parents, children, or husband. I fear losing my loved ones.”
She also shared that men are like assets in a woman’s life—they are superior, they look good as caretakers and providers, and they are above women in stature. She added that men should have a certain hold over women and that the role of a king suits men. Watch here:
