Zara Noor Abbas recently appeared on Excuse Me with Ahmed Ali Butt. In the podcast, she spoke about her biggest career regret and revealed a reality check she once received from Yumna Zaidi.

Talking about it, Zara Noor Abbas Siddiqui said, “I think I should not have done Zebaish, or I should have at least read the script before signing it. I should not have compromised just because it was a family project. I should have taken my work more seriously. I also should not have compromised on my ability to understand art. It took me time to realize that I was not good enough. In the initial days of my career, I took myself too lightly. It’s so funny that once I was at a get-together at Asim Azhar’s house. I was pregnant and sitting there when Yumna gave me a reality check. She said, ‘Zara, come here. You don’t take your work seriously.’ I was shocked because I was giving my hundred percent. I said yes, I don’t take my work seriously, but later I thought about why Yumna had said that to me and realized she was right.” Here is the link to the video:
