The main trailer for Sound! Euphonium The Final Movie Part 1 has been released. The movie will premiere in Japan on April 24, 2026.
The trailer features the main character, Kumiko Oumae, as club president, along with her friends and the Kitauji High School Concert Band, as they strive to win gold at the national competition. It also showcased new performance scenes for the competition and the “newly animated performance” scene from the “Sunrise Festival” event. Japanese singer True is returning to sing the movie’s main theme song, “ToCoda.”
Sound! Euphonium The Final Movie was first announced in 2025 as a two-part movie. It is the movie version of season 3 of Sound! Euphonium, which aired in 2024 with newly added scenes and a rewritten plot.

The original series was a novel written by Ayano Takeda and was published by Takarajimasha. It ran from 2013 to 2024 with a total of 14 volumes. It inspired an anime adaptation that aired in 2015 and the movie versions of the first two seasons, a spin-off film, a movie, an OVA, and a manga adaptation.
Yen Press has licensed and published the first volume and describes it as:
After a terrible disappointment at the All-Kyoto Concert Band Competition, music has lost its spark for Kumiko. But her first year at Kitauji High School is a chance for a fresh start.
