A third new trailer has been unveiled for the ongoing third season of MF Ghost, which spotlights some more intense car races. MF Ghost 3rd Season began streaming early in Japan on Amazon Prime Video on January 1, 2026, before broadcasting on Japanese TV on January 4, 2026.
Tomohito Naka is directing the third season, with Kenichi Yamashita as series composer, Naoyuki Onda as character designer and co-chief animation director, and Akio Tobashi as music composer. FelixFilm is handling the animation production and is also in charge of the CG animation production with directrain.
Meanwhile, the anime’s voice cast stars:

The first season of MF Ghost aired during the Fall 2023 season from October 2, 2023 until December 18, 2023. Season two was released from October 7, 2024 to December 23, 2024. Crunchyroll streamed both past seasons and is also streaming the third season.
The anime is based on the Initial D sequel manga series by Shuichi Shigeno, which was serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine from September 4, 2017 to February 17, 2025. Twenty-three total tankobon volumes were released in Japan.
A sequel manga to MF Ghost titled Subaru and Subaru was launched in Weekly Young Magazine on July 22, 2025.
