Foo Fighters are heading back down under, locking in a massive stadium tour that will see the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legends return to Adelaide this November as part of a nine-date Australia and New Zealand run.
The hugely anticipated tour marks another chapter in the band’s long-standing love affair with Australian audiences, bringing their career-spanning live show to Brisbane, Townsville, Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne and Adelaide before crossing the Tasman and wrapping in Perth in early 2027.
Adelaide fans will see Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear, Rami Jaffee and Ilan Rubin take over Coopers Stadium on Tuesday, 17 November, joined by local act Kurralta Park and Launceston’s Spooky Eyes as supports.
The announcement follows the band’s recent history-making appearance in Tasmania, where they delivered the biggest concert ever staged in the state. That show reaffirmed the Foos’ enduring connection with Australian crowds, with Grohl famously promising onstage they’d return before his birthday — a promise now set in motion with this blockbuster tour.
Known worldwide for marathon sets, raw energy and career-defining anthems, Foo Fighters remain one of the most powerful live rock bands on the planet. Their performances regularly stretch close to three hours, blending new material with the hits that have shaped generations, from arena-sized singalongs to heavier fan favourites.
The band’s impact in Australia is undeniable, having sold more than 1.8 million records locally and landed nine number-one albums — the most chart-toppers they’ve achieved in any territory globally. That sustained success, paired with their reputation for unforgettable live shows, means demand for tickets is expected to be fierce.
This tour will also spotlight emerging talent, with 16 rising acts handpicked by the Foos joining them across the run. Adelaide’s inclusion of Kurralta Park reflects the band’s continued commitment to supporting local music scenes alongside their stadium-scale productions.
Presales kick off in late February, with Telstra Plus members and Spark customers accessing tickets first from Friday 20 February, followed by Frontier Members from Monday 23 February. General public sales open Wednesday 25 February, with staggered times across each city.
With a legacy built on relentless touring, a catalogue packed with global hits and a live reputation few bands can match, Foo Fighters’ return is shaping up as one of the biggest rock moments on Adelaide’s 2026 events calendar.
