The Federal Constitutional Court has officially issued a notification setting office hours for the holy month of Ramadan. The notification was released after approval by the Chief Justice of the Federal Constitutional Court.
According to the notification, the revised schedule will apply to court offices in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, and Quetta.
Under the new timings, offices will operate from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm., Monday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, office hours will be from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.
The notification also states that no cases will be accepted during the final hour before the close of office each day.
However, the court has provided an exception for cases of an extremely urgent or emergency nature, which will not be subject to the standard time restrictions and may be received as necessary.
The revised timings will remain in effect for the entire duration of Ramadan.
