Tottenham Hotspur has reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Igor Tudor to become the interim head coach following the dismissal of Thomas Frank.
The 47-year-old Croatian is set to join Spurs on a contract to the end of the season.
Tudor has previously managed Juventus, Marseille and Galatasaray and is set to take charge before the north London derby against Arsenal next weekend.
The contract will not include a permanent option, according to the Athletic.
The Croatian was sacked after seven months at Juventus following a winless eight-game run in October.
The Italian giants sat in eighth place in Serie A when he was dismissed.
Before taking up his role as a manager, Tudor played for Juventus, making 174 appearances over nine years and winning two league titles in the process.
It comes after Thomas Frank was sacked from Spurs, leaving the north London side in 16th in the Premier League, just five points above the relegation zone.

Spurs have two wins from their last 17 matches in the league.
They remain in the Champions League, finishing fourth place in the table and securing automatic qualification to the round of 16.
The board’s decision follows Tuesday night’s 2-1 home loss to Newcastle.
Boos rang and chants of “sacked in the morning” rang around the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium following the final whistle, a common theme of Frank’s recent tenure.
Vinai Venkatesham and Johan Lange, who were responsible for appointing the new interim, hope to win back fans and keep the big-six club in the Premier League.
Come summer, a wider pool of candidates will be assessed for a permanent hire.
Tudor brings years of coaching experience to the role, having begun his role with Croatian side Hajduk Split in 2013.
He went on to coach PAOK, Karabukspor, Galatasaray, Udinese, before rejoining Juventus as part of Andrea Pirlo’s coaching staff in 2020.
The Croatian also managed Hellas Verona, Marseille and Lazio.
Early concerns centre on the manager’s experience in the Premier League, with some fan accounts noting he has yet to manage a fixture in the UK division.
A statement from Tottenham Hotspur confirmed the sacking of Frank on Wednesday morning.
It read: “The Club has taken the decision to make a change in the Men’s Head Coach position and Thomas Frank will leave today.
They added: “Thomas was appointed in June 2025, and we have been determined to give him the time and support needed to build for the future together.
“However, results and performances have led the Board to conclude that a change at this point in the season is necessary.
“Throughout his time at the Club, Thomas has conducted himself with unwavering commitment, giving everything in his efforts to move the Club forward. We would like to thank him for his contribution and wish him every success in the future.”
The club is expected to make an official announcement in the coming days, provided the final details are approved.
