The official Twitter/X account and website of the ongoing The Case Book of Arne TV anime series announced that voice actress Yuko Miyamura will be joining its voice cast. The anime premiered in Japan on January 6, 2026.

Miyamura will voice the Phantom Thief Red Riding Hood (also known as Kaito Akazukin in Japanese) in the series and will appear in the seventh episode. She joins a voice cast that includes:
- • Koki Uchiyama as Arne Neuntöte
- • Aimi Tanaka as Arne Neuntöte (young)
- • Yuka Nukui as Lynn Reinweiss
- • Yuki Sakakihara as Zisye
- • Yuki Shin as Nachzehrer
- • Yoko Hikasa as Amy
Keisuke Inoue (My Next Life as a Villainess, the upcoming My Stepmother and Stepsisters Aren’t Wicked) is directing the anime series and serving as co-series composer, with Murasaki co-series composer, Akiko Sato (A Condition Called Love character designer) as character designer and chief animation supervisor, and Yoshiaki Fujisawa (Takopi’s Original Sin) as music composer. SILVER LINK is in charge of the animation production.
The anime is inspired by the 2D mystery-adventure game of the same name, created by duo Harumurasaki (consisting of writer Murasaki and artist Harutaro). The game first debuted in 2017 on the Game Magazine website (who is also credited as a developer) with a serialized format, before being released on Steam in October 2020.
A manga series by Soraho Ina was launched in Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Gene in November 2018 and ended in March 2022. Four total tankobon volumes were published in Japan. Ina then began working on a new manga adaptation of the show’s episodes titled The Case Book of Arne: Memory of Blood on Bushiroad Works’ Comic Growl website on January 7, 2026.

Crunchyroll is streaming the The Case Book of Arne anime series in select countries and territories. It describes the main premise as:
Louis Hartmann loses his father, a private detective investigating a string of murders, leaving him all alone. Rumor has it that the murders are the work of a Grave-Digger Vampire.
