LaSalle basketball lost it’s fourth straight game and was once again without Jerome Brewer, Jr. on the road in Missouri on Saturday as they fell in an away game to #19 St. Louis University (23–1) by a final score of 82–58.
The Billikens extended their win streak to nineteen games at home dating back to last year and seventeen in a row this year. Guard Ishan Sharma knocked down five three-pointers for St. Louis in the win.
The game was close through halftime — which was a 31–27 St. Louis lead. LaSalle started the game with a 8–3 lead and Rob Dockery finished with nineteen points. As a team — LaSalle grabbed fifteen offensive rebounds but gave up 51 second half points and had a field goal percentage of only 32.8% from the floor.
The Explorers fell to 3–8 in the A-10 Conference. Next up is a matchup against VCU on Wednesday at home.
