Boston Red Sox Hosts One Piece Theme Night at Fenway Park on May 12

Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Crew are returning to the Boston Red Sox’s Fenway Park for another special One Piece theme night on May 12, 2026 against the Philadelphia Phillies. This is the third collaboration between the anime franchise and baseball team, following a 25th anniversary celebration of the anime series in 2024 and a jersey/hat giveaway in 2025. 

Both general admission and VIP theme ticket options will be offered once again for the event. All theme ticket holders will receive a commemorative One Piece Boston Red Sox bomber jacket that features a Straw Hat Crew Jolly Roger on the front and a chibi-style Monkey D. Luffy in a Red Sox jersey with a baseball and glove on the back.

In addition, VIP theme ticket holders will also receive a special edition plushie of Wally the Green Monster dressed as a One Piece character.

Tickets for the Boston Red Sox’s theme night are on-sale now and available for fans exclusively on the team’s official website or the Fenway Park ticket office.

VIZ Media releases the One Piece manga series in English, describing the main premise as:

As a child, Monkey D. Luffy was inspired to become a pirate by listening to the tales of the buccaneer “Red-Haired” Shanks. But his life changed when Luffy accidentally ate the Gum-Gum Devil Fruit and gained the power to stretch like rubber…at the cost of never being able to swim again! Years later, still vowing to become the king of the pirates, Luffy sets out on his adventure…one guy alone in a rowboat, in search of the legendary “One Piece,” said to be the greatest treasure in the world…
