Meri Zindagi Hai Tu is currently the most loved and most-watched Pakistani prime-time drama series airing on ARY Digital. The drama stars Bilal Abbas Khan and Hania Aamir in the lead roles. It is written by Radain Shah and directed by Mussadiq Malek. The series revolves around the troubled love story between Kamyar and Ayra. MZHT is receiving widespread praise from fans and is also achieving strong TRPs and high viewership, with each episode easily collecting more than 15 million views within a week. So far, 27 episodes of the drama have been aired on ARY Digital.
Recently, Meri Zindagi Hai Tu writer Radain Shah appeared on Fuchsia Magazine’s YouTube show Gupshup, where he talked about the logic behind Kamyar’s character.
Speaking about the logic behind Kamyar’s character, Radain Shah said, “We don’t make every drama for a social message. This drama is solely for entertainment purposes, and I am not fond of giving social messages through dramas. I think that we are all human beings who have both flaws and good qualities. Everyone commits mistakes, and Kamyar is a normal person. He isn’t perfect; he has weaknesses. As humans, we only show our good side; we hide our drawbacks and try to look good. But Kamyar is the one who doesn’t hide his negative side. Kamyar is the outcome of bad parenting. The journey he has shows he can get better, which he tried as well.
