The One Piece Heroines anime is set to arrive on July 5. A visual that provides another look at its aesthetic was released with the announcement.

Also released were some details about the spin-off, which is based on the ONE PIECE novel HEROINES. The anime will be a one-episode affair that adapts the “episode : NAMI” story. You can also expect anime-original elements and Robin (the latter is less of a reveal given her prominent presence in previous promotional material).
ONE PIECE novel HEROINES, which was originally serialized in ONE PIECE magazine, features short stories focused on female One Piece characters like Nami, Robin, Boa Hancock, Uta, and more. Two volumes were published under Shueisha’s JUMP j BOOKS label between 2021 and 2024. Jun Esaka is the author, while Sayaka Suwa is the illustrator.
The anime is helmed by Haruka Kamatani, who co-directed Koisuru One Piece and Looking for Magical Doremi and has participated in episode/unit direction for the One Piece TV anime, some of the movies, and other titles like The First Slam Dunk. Also part of the core crew are Takashi Kojima (Monsters: 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation, Ride Your Wave, and The Colors Within ) and Momoka Toyoda (One Piece Log: Fish-Man Island Saga series composer, My Happy Marriage Season 1 co-series composer, One Piece Fan Letter) as scriptwriter.
Viz Media publishes the ONE PIECE novel HEROINES books in English under the title One Piece Heroines.
