Update, Monday, February, 2 at 1:30 p.m. ET: At long last, the performers for Turning Point USA’s highly anticipated “All American Halftime Show” have been announced. None other than Kid Rock will headline the event alongside country musicians Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett.
“We set out to provide an entertainment option that will be fun, excellent, and exciting for the entire family while millions are gathered together for the big game,” said Turning Point USA spokesperson Andrew Kolvet in a press release. “These performers will deliver exactly that, and we can’t wait to watch the incredible show they’re about to put on. We know millions around the country will be watching too.”
Fifty-five-year-old Kid Rock was once a household name in the “Country Rock” genre; his biggest hit, “All Summer Long,” debuted in 2007. Since then, the Waffle House Legend Award winner has made his conservative politics well known, teasing a run for office in 2017 and performing at the White House in 2025. Rock is joined by Academy of Country Music award winner Brantley Gilbert, whose song “Bottoms Up” placed #15 on Rolling Stone‘s list of Bro Country’s Biggest Bangers. Grammy-nominated and Country Music Association Award–winning artist Lee Brice is best known for the song “I Drive Your Car.” Gabby Barrett, the only female performer on the list, won the Academy of Country Music’s new female artist of the year award in 2021 and finished third on the 16th season of American Idol.
The four of them will face off against recent album of the year Grammy-winning Latin music superstar Bad Bunny. At least one of these performers is unafraid to say that the odds are stacked against them. “We’re approaching this show like David and Goliath. Competing with the pro football machine and a global pop superstar is almost impossible…or is it?”, said Kid Rock in a press release. “He’s said he’s having a dance party, wearing a dress, and singing in Spanish? Cool. We plan to play great songs for folks who love America.”
As of now, it’s unclear where the event will be taking place. The show will be streamed around 8 p.m. ET on Feb. 8, 2026 on the following platforms: TPUSA YouTube, TPUSA X, TPUSA Rumble. Who knows; maybe Nicki Minaj will make a surprise appearance, too.

Remember the All-American Halftime Show? Last fall, conservative nonprofit Turning Point USA made a big fuss about throwing one as counterprogramming to Bad Bunny’s headlining halftime performance at Super Bowl LX on February 8. But although the big event is less than 10 days away, it’s currently unclear who is headlining Turning Point USA’s “All-American Halftime Show”—or if it’s even happening at all.
