On game day, there’s nothing better than cheering on your team with a tableful of tasty treats. In this Season 18 episode of Simply Ming, celebrity chef Ming Tsai cooked two of everyone’s favorites: Buffalo chicken wings and vegetable tempura. His son Henry Tsai lent a helping hand in the kitchen preparing this quick and easy meal that’s perfect to enjoy in front of the television or at the tailgate party.
INGREDIENTS
- 12 chicken wings
- 1 stock pot filled with 3 inches safflower or vegetable oil, pre-heating on high
- 1 cup Frank’s Hot Sauce
- 8 oz butter, melted
TO PREPARE
STEP ONE. Fry wings on high heat until golden, brown and delicious. It should take at least 15 minutes.
STEP TWO. Melt butter then whisk in hot sauce.
STEP THREE. Drain crispy wings on a sheet tray lined with paper towels, then transfer to a stainless steel. Drizzle on enough sauce to completely coat the wings while tossing to ensure the wings are well coated.
STEP FOUR. Serve with carrot, celery, and cucumber sticks if desired.
