MASCAC Women’s Basketball Weekly Awards 2/2
Faith Greene of Framingham State and Emilie von der Linden of Bridgewater State take home the MASCAC Women’s Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week honors after helping their teams go 2-0 in MASCAC play.
Player of the Week
Faith Greene, Framingham State
Sophomore, Forward, Worcester, Mass.
Greene averaged a double-double of 21.5 points and 13.5 rebounds plus 1.5 blocks in a 2-0 week for the Rams. Tallied 13 points with 10 boards in the 80-54 win over Anna Maria. Added 30 points and 17 rebounds in the 80-75 win over Westfield State.

Rookie of the Week
Emilie von der Linden, Bridgewater State
Freshman, Center, Sanbornville, NH
von der Linden averaged 22 points, nine rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.5 blocked shots while shooting 79.2% (19-24) from the floor. Scored a career-high 26 points to go along with eight rebounds, three assists and two blocks in a 93-38 MASCAC win over Fitchburg State. Posted a double-double with 18 points and ten rebounds while adding three blocks in an 83-49 conference victory over Worcester State.
