Faysal Quraishi and Ushna Shah are two stellar actors who received huge praise as a hit on-screen pairing in 2014 through their popular drama serial Bashar Momin. The duo later appeared together in another project, Bheegi Palkain. Both actors have since established themselves as remarkable performers. Faysal Quraishi’s recent successful projects include Case No. 9, Khaie, Zulm, and Hook, while Ushna Shah has recently earned acclaim for her performances in Ghair, Bandhay Ik Dour Se, and Aye Ishq-e-Junoon. Despite being a much-loved on-screen pair, Faysal and Ushna did not collaborate on many projects, which helped preserve their on-screen charm.
Now, Ushna Shah and Faysal Quraishi are set to reunite in an upcoming action-packed series, which is reportedly produced by Ushna Shah herself.
Titled Chasing Shadows, the action-packed TV serial features an ensemble cast including Ushna Shah, Faysal Quraishi, Affan Waheed, Ali Rehman, Mehar Bano, Sehar Afzal, and Asif Raza Mir. The drama has been written by film writer and director Abu Aleeha and is directed by Asad Mumtaz. Chasing Shadows is currently being filmed in Karachi.
Faysal Quraishi has also confirmed the news by resharing the post on his official Instagram.
