The second season of the Farming Life in Another World anime series will premiere in April 2026. A key visual and trailer have been released featuring its new opening and ending theme song.

The opening theme song is titled “It’s a beautiful story,” and it’s sung by Japanese voice actresses Shino Shimoji and Aya Suzaki. Shimoji also voices as Luu while Suzaki voices as Tier in the series. They have also previously sung the opening theme song for the series’s first season.
V-Tuber, Yui Hizuki, will also be returning to sing the series’ ending theme song titled “Sunny Steps.” Hizuki sang the ending theme song for the first season.
Furthermore, new cast members have also been revealed. The new cast members are as follows:

The second season was first announced in August 2025. While the first season premiered in January 2023 and ran until March 2023 with a total of 12 episodes.
Farming Life in Another World is a Japanese light novel series written by Kinosuke Naito and illustrated by Yasumo. It was first published as a web novel at Shoetsuka ni Naro in 2016 before being published as a light novel series in 2017 under KADOKAWA. As of January 2026, the series has published 19 volumes, with the 20th volume releasing in Japan on February 28, 2026. It has also inspired a manga adaptation by Yasuyuki Tsurugi.
The first season of Farming Life in Another World is currently streaming on HiDive, while One Peace Books has licensed and is publishing the manga adaptation in English. The synopsis of the first volume is described as:
After Hiraku dies of a serious illness, God brings him back to life, gives his health and youth back, and sends him to a fantasy world of his choice. In order to enjoy his second shot, God bestows upon him the almighty farming tool! Watch as Hiraku digs, chops, and plows in another world in this laidback farming fantasy!
