Cellar Door Fest turns 15 this weekend, with 130+ SA producers under one roof

One of Adelaide’s most loved food and drink festivals is hitting a major milestone, with Cellar Door Fest celebrating 15 delicious years in 2026, and the city is very much invited to raise a glass.

Running from 5pm today (Friday 30 January) to Sunday 1 February at the Adelaide Convention Centre, the three day celebration brings together more than 130 of South Australia’s hottest wine, spirits and artisan food producers under one roof for a long weekend of tasting, learning and very good eating.

From internationally recognised labels to exciting boutique makers, Cellar Door Fest is all about meeting the people behind the pours. It is your chance to taste your way around the regions, chat directly with producers and discover new favourites, whether that is a standout shiraz, a small batch gin or an unexpected snack you did not know you needed.

This year’s program is packed with highlights. The Emerging Producers Zone shines a spotlight on SA’s next generation of winemakers, distillers and food creators, while a full program of educational masterclasses lets you dig deeper into flavour, technique and regional stories. Over at the Wine Discovery Stage, free interactive tastings will be hosted by SA wine identity Nick Ryan, offering approachable and entertaining deep dives into what makes local wine tick.

True to its long held “eat, drink, support local” message, the 15th anniversary edition is also extending its focus to South Australia’s coastal communities and producers. New features include the Seafood and Sparkling Bar, where festivalgoers can enjoy complimentary tastings of DAOSA sparkling wines paired with fresh South Australian seafood from Yumbah, before exploring the Eyre Peninsula showcase. Expect cool climate wines, spirits and insider travel tips straight from the locals who know the region best.

There are four sessions available across the weekend, making it easy to plan a relaxed afternoon visit or a lively evening out. Friday night kicks things off from 5pm to 9pm, followed by two sessions on Saturday and a final Sunday session from 11am to 4pm.

Whether you are a seasoned wine lover or simply looking for a fun way to spend a summer weekend in the city, Cellar Door Fest remains one of the most delicious ways to experience the best of South Australia in one place.

As a little birthday bonus, festival fans can enjoy 10 percent off single entry General Admission tickets with the promo code CDFFRIEND.

This milestone celebration is shaping up to be one of the biggest yet. Explore the full program and book your tickets at cellardoorfestival.com.
