TOHO has revealed a trailer for Moshi, Kore kara Umareru no Nara, an anime short film from its new GEMNiBUS vol.2 anthology. A visual was also released.
The short is written, storyborded, and directed by Asuka Dokai, whose past works include the Pokémon Day 2025 animation Kairyu to Yuubinya-san (original character designer), the Pokémon WCS2023 “Kimi ni Aeta!” animation CM (director, storyboard artist, and co-unit director) and YOASOBI’s “Umi no Manimani” animated music video (storyboard artist amd unit director). It is a fantastical interpretation of the gestation period, with the premise involving a pair of twins making their way through a womb-like planet to see their grieving mother.
