A CCTV camera captured the moment of Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s plane crash. The camera, which was placed nearby, showed Pawar’s jet crashing behind a small shop in Baramati on Wednesday while attempting a landing. It also showed a ball of fire emerging after the plane crashed.
Pawar was on his way to Baramati to attend four key meetings ahead of the upcoming Zila Parishad elections. Two pilots and Ajit’s two security personnel (1 PSO and 1 attendant) also died in the crash, which happened as the chartered aircraft was attempting a second emergency landing at Baramati airport.
