Vocaloid producer and illustrator HarumakiGohan has dropped an anime music video for the song “Doppelgänger,” which features Hatsune Miku vocals.
“Doppelgänger” is is the first song in HarumakiGohan’s new Onee-chan Gokko project, which centers around sisters Akane and Sui and features a village that harbors a doppelganger legend. In a tweet, HarumakiGohan said that the song is one that considers the feelings of the doppelganger.
The vocaloid producer directed the music video and also partook in other production areas like animation and background art. Their animation studio, Studio Gohan, handled the animation production.
Onee-chan Gokko kicked off this month and is projected to be year-long project. It will (tentatively) include three 25-minute episodes, the first of which will be released before February. A teaser was revealed in mid-January. HarumakiGohan is credited with the project’s direction, script, music, and sound.
Erika Miyazaki is voicing Akane, the younger sister, while the KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO VSinger Isekaijoucho is Sui.
The Onee-chan Gokko episodes will be released on HarumakiGohan’s YouTube channel, niconico, and bilibili.
