The Dragon Ball Super anime series announces that its newest arc, “The GALACTIC PATROL”, is set for production. It was announced at the “Exclusive Announcements! GENKIDASTAGE Part1” opening stage at the “Dragon Ball Genkidamatsuri” event in Japan. A teaser visual of Goku and Vegeta was also released.
More details about this latest arc will be released in the future.

“The Galactic Patrol” arc is based on the “Galactic Patrol Prisoner Arc” in the original manga and continue the story of Dragon Ball Super after the “Universe Survival Arc.” It follows Goku and Vegeta as they work together with the peacekeepers of the galaxy, the Galactic Patrol, to fight against a new enemy.
The Dragon Ball Genkidamatsuri is an event held at the Makuhari Messe in Tokyo, Japan, to end the 40th anniversary celebration of the late Akira Toriyama’s original Dragon Ball manga series. The original manga seris has inspired several video games, spin-offs, films, and anime series, including recent anime adaptations, Dragon Ball Super and Dragon Ball Daima.
