The Pakistan Super League (PSL) will hold its players auction workshop for PSL 11 on Sunday, as preparations continue for the upcoming season.
PSL Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer announced the workshop through his official social media account and invited all stakeholders to attend. He added that further details regarding the event would be shared soon.
The 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League will feature eight teams for the first time and is scheduled to begin on March 26.
Meanwhile, earlier reports indicate that PSL 11 has finalized February 14, 2026, as the date for its player auction. The auction is set to take place during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, creating a notable scheduling overlap.
Pakistan is set to play against the Netherlands on February 7 and the United States on February 10 during the World Cup. The situation becomes more complex as Pakistan is scheduled to face arch-rivals India on February 15, just one day after the PSL auction.
The overlap has raised questions regarding player availability, franchise planning, and administrative coordination.
The overlap raises concerns over player availability, as PSL franchises may be required to finalize squads without clarity on international duty commitments.
