Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has categorically directed officials to ensure that T-Hub continues exclusively as a dedicated startup and innovation centre, rejecting any move to accommodate government offices within the facility.
The Chief Minister responded to reports suggesting that government offices currently functioning from rented buildings were being considered for relocation to T-Hub.
While on an official tour of the United States, Mr. Revanth Reddy spoke to Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao over the phone and issued instructions on the matter.
He directed officials to immediately abandon any such proposals, if under consideration, to protect the startup-focused identity of T-Hub.
He advised officials to shift government offices operating from rented premises to other available government buildings instead of T-Hub.
The Chief Minister said T-Hub must be recognised and preserved solely as a startup ecosystem.
Stating that T-Hub was set up as an incubator and innovation catalyst to support startups, Mr. Revanth Reddy made it clear that no other offices should function from the premises.
