PSB Issues Notice to Pakistan Hockey Federation Over Club Scrutiny

The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has issued a notice to the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF), stating that the hockey club scrutiny process will be conducted only under the supervision of the PSB.

According to the PSB, the PHF released a club scrutiny schedule without consultation, which has not been approved by the board. The PSB said this unilateral action has created confusion among stakeholders.

The PSB clarified that the scrutiny process must be carried out with transparency and strictly in line with the board’s decisions and oversight.

The federation has been asked to immediately issue a clarification to ensure transparency in hockey’s administrative affairs.

The PSB further stated that the federation’s action is affecting transparency and trust within the sport. It emphasized that all stakeholders will be included in the scrutiny process only through proper and officially approved guidelines.
