Re:ZERO Drops New Season 4 Main Trailer, 10th Anniversary Visual

A second main trailer for the fourth season of Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-, containing plenty of action and danger, is now out. Among the previewed content: Reid Astrea fighting Julius with chopsticks, a giant centaur-like creature with two lances, and the newly announced opening song “Recollect” by Konomi Suzuki feat. Ashnikko.

The anime also received updates related to its 10th anniversary project. There’s an anniversary visual and a digest trailer, plus the announcement of upcoming content like “Quizzes, Q&A, and Episode Voting Projects” that will be on the Re:ZERO YouTube channel. Besides that, expect compilations of things like past trailers and theme songs, the streaming of old supplementary material like mini-anime and talks, and a Re:ZERO exhibition that will be held at Shibuya BEAM Gallery from September 12 to October 4.

Re:ZERO Season 4 is set to premiere in April. The synopsis reads:

In the deadly battle at the Watergate City of Priestella, Subaru and his allies barely emerged victorious—but their triumph came at a great cost.

Through the “Authority of Gluttony,” Rem remains in an unending sleep, while Crusch’s memories and even Julius’s name were devoured.

As he searches for a way to save them, Subaru learns of the “wise man” Shaula—an all-seeing being said to possess every form of knowledge.

His next destination is the Pleiades Watchtower, home to a wise man, the farthest tower standing in the vast, uncharted desert known as the Auguria Dunes—a place so perilous that even the mightiest “Sword Saint,” Reinhard, failed to conquer it.

The fury of nature, unknown mabeasts, and unimaginable dangers lie ahead.

Together with his friends, Subaru embarks on a life-risking journey to reclaim what was lost.

The anime is based on the isekai light novel series written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichiro Otsuka, which sees shut-in teenager Natsuki Subaru getting transported to a fantasy world, where he has to overcome various threats with his new upon-death time loop ability. The first three seasons premiered in 2016, 2020, and 2024, with the latter two having split cours. The third season’s second arc premiered in February 2025.

The Re:ZERO light novel series is published under KADOKAWA’s MF Bunko J label and is available in English from Yen Press. It began in 2014 and has 43 main volumes as of December 2025. The story started as a Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel and has received the manga treatment.
