From Island Hopping To City Exploring: Where Our Team Is Flying In 2026

From Island Hopping To City Exploring: Where Our Team Is Flying In 2026

Was your New Year’s resolution to get out and see the world? Same. In 2026, we’re not letting those resolutions go—we’re booking those trips, taking to the skies and expanding our horizons.

With that in mind, a little travel inspo never goes astray, so we partnered with the legends over at Singapore Airlines—who happen to be slinging epic fares in their Picture Perfect Travel deals until 4 February—to ask the Urban List crew where they’re jetting off to this year.

With deals to over 70 selected destinations across the world, make 2026 the year you step away from the desk and into an international adventure—even better, do it with an airline ranked among the best in the world.

Barcelona

Client Service Manager Mary is off to a dreamy destination wedding in Barcelona. “My partner and I are taking the opportunity to turn it into a bit of a Euro summer,” she says.

They’ll be flicking on their OOO and flying into Barcelona, before hopping around Madrid, Seville and Grenada (all great spots for first-timers) for two weeks of sipping sangria, sightseeing and soaking in all that Spain has to offer. Sound tempting? Thankfully Barcelona is one of many airports you could find yourself touching down at with the Picture Perfect sale fares.

United Kingdom

Commercial Content Producer Coby is looking to head to the UK later this year.

“My best friend moved to London a couple of years ago, and I haven’t visited yet, so I’m definitely due,” she says. “While I’m there, I may as well go full-on tourist and explore the rest of (or a good chunk of) England. I’m hoping to head to Ireland and Scotland too.”

Packed to the border with both tourist attractions and local gems, there’s never a bad time to go to the UK—but with Lily Allen touring her smash album West End Girl in March, we know when we’re booking. Worried about the cold weather? No need, with a generous baggage allowance included on all Singapore Airlines flights, you can pack all the layers you need to stay rugged up.

South Africa

Our resident adventure seeker and Client Service Manager, Pia, is hoping to tick South Africa off her bucket list for 2026.

“I’ve been thinking about booking a safari for so long,” she says, “I don’t want to wait any longer”. Exactly the energy we’re channelling in 2026.

Safari tours run all year, but the best time for animal spotting is typically from May to September—so there’s plenty of time to chase those once-in-a-lifetime wildlife encounters. Whenever you go, make sure to book before 4 February to save flights and maximise that all-important spending money.

Sri Lanka

“I’m dead keen to lock in a trip to Sri Lanka,” says Commercial Content Editor Bridget.

“So many friends have come back raving about it, especially the beach breaks for surfing. Catch me there in 2026 on a longboard with a cocktail in hand (not at the same time).”

Sri Lanka is a no-brainer for surfers of all experience levels, with plenty of gentle beach breaks offering easy learning opps. Check out Weligama Bay, Kabalana, Hikkaduwa or Hiriketiya Beach if you’re not quite a pro at the whole standing and staying upright thing (no judgement—same).

South Korea

Client Service Manager Maddy went to Seoul last year and fell so in love that she’s gearing up for another trip in 2026. “A week just wasn’t enough,” she says.

Hot tip: don’t bother packing—the thrifting scene and local designers are so good you’ll fill a suitcase in no time. For the best shopping, head to the Hongdae district where you’ll find buzzing streets lined with vintage and thrift shops, as well as plenty of indie boutiques and well-loved labels.

Ready to book your own bucket list trip? With fares to over 70 destinations on sale right now, flight options departing from most major cities, and seamless connections via the award-winning Changi Airport, head to Singapore Airlines to get started.
