Here are the stocks in which the SBI Group fund has made a fresh stake in Q3 FY26:
Adani Power Limited
With a market capitalization of Rs. 2,75,192.59 crore, the shares of Adani Power Limited closed at Rs. 142.70 per equity share, down nearly 0.45 percent from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 143.35.
In December 2025, Adani Power Limited had a majority stake held by the promoters at 74.96 percent, foreign institutional investors at 11.64 percent, domestic institutional investors at 3.41 percent, and the public at 9.99 percent.
In the December quarter of 2025, SBI Equity Hybrid Fund made a fresh stake of 1.7 percent in the company, which had a holding value of Rs. 4,575.9 crore with ownership of 32.05 crore shares.
Adani Power Limited is a part of the Adani Group and one of India’s largest private power producers, generating and selling electricity mainly from thermal and solar plants under long-term and short-term power purchase agreements. It operates a diversified portfolio of power projects across India, supporting energy security and industrial growth.
Varun Beverages Limited
With a market capitalization of Rs. 1,69,894.21 crore, the shares of Varun Beverages Limited closed at Rs. 502.35 per equity share, rising nearly 0.28 percent from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 500.95.
In December 2025, Varun Beverages Limited had a majority stake held by the promoters at 59.44 percent, foreign institutional investors at 20.31 percent, domestic institutional investors at 13.56 percent, and the public at 6.69 percent.
In the December quarter of 2025, SBI Group Fund made a fresh stake of 2.1 percent in the company, with a holding worth Rs. 3,610.7 crore. This includes a 1.1 percent stake acquired by SBI Equity Hybrid Fund, valued at Rs. 1,847.3 crore, representing ownership of 3.68 crore shares. Additionally, SBI Pension Fund made a fresh stake of 1 percent in the company, which had a holding value of Rs. 1,763.4 crore with ownership of 3.51 crore shares.
Varun Beverages Limited is a major Indian multinational beverage company and one of the largest PepsiCo franchise bottlers in the world outside the U.S., manufacturing, bottling, and distributing carbonated and non-carbonated drinks across India and several international markets.
Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited
With a market capitalization of Rs. 93,197.43 crore, the shares of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited closed at Rs. 267.65 per equity share, rising nearly 0.83 percent from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 265.45.
In December 2025, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited had a majority stake held by the promoters at 63.17 percent, foreign institutional investors at 6.28 percent, domestic institutional investors at 19.70 percent, and the public at 10.85 percent.

In December 2025, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited had a majority stake held by the promoters at 54.90 percent, foreign institutional investors at 16.35 percent, domestic institutional investors at 20.64 percent, and the public at 8.09 percent.
