2nd Love Live! Nijigasaki Movie to Screen in Southeast Asia

ODEX is bringing Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club The Movie – Finale – Chapter 2 to some Southeast Asian cinemas.

Indonesia will begin screening the anime film on January 14, followed by Malaysia (via its GSC theater chain) and Singapore on January 15. Screening in the Philippines will begin later in the month on January 21.

Here’s the synopsis from GSC:

The School Idol GPX (Grand Prix) is a competition to decide the “most ‘oshi’ school idol” of the moment.
To participate in this event, which caused a huge stir in Okinawa, six girls—Karin, Ai, Setsuna, Rina, Shioriko, and Mia—visited another venue at the same time.

In Kyoto, where ancient culture still breathes, in Osaka, full of humanity and vitality, and in the exotic port city of Kobe, the six begin their activities as they see fit.

At that time, Chloe Taylor, Mia’s older sister, appears before Mia, who is enjoying her time as a school idol and a member of the club.

Meanwhile, Nana Nakagawa, who is active as her ideal self, “Setsuna Yuki,” within a limited time, has a certain worry.

Involving the respective feelings of the club members, the School Idol GPX is showing more excitement than expected…

The second chapter of the coming-of-age school drama woven by twelve girls and one other.

Another story of heart-pounding excitement begins—
