Leave it to Rajkummar Rao to turn a household object into a full-blown obsession spiral. Toaster is an offbeat comedy with a dark-crime edge, built around a miser who can’t let go of a toaster he gifted at a wedding, triggering a domino run of chaos that includes murder, mayhem and a very petty sense of entitlement. Directed by Vivek Das Chaudhary and headlined by Rao opposite Sanya Malhotra, the film also stacks up a delicious supporting line-up including Archana Puran Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, Farah Khan, Upendra Limaye, Jitendra Joshi and Seema Pahwa.
