UBI conducts walkathon to promote integrity, awareness among staff members

As part of ‘Vigilance Awareness Week’ celebrations, the Union Bank of India (UBI) regional office conducted a 2K Walkathon in Ongole on Tuesday. This was part of the various activities organised by the bank in the city to promote integrity, transparency, and awareness among staff members and the public.

The walkathon commenced from the UBI regional office, and covered all major landmarks in the city, including the Nellore bus stand and RIMS Hospital junction. The event focused on vigilance activities in the banking sector and emphasised awareness on cyberfraud prevention.

The walkathon was led by UBI regional head V. Ravi Kumar, along with Deputy regional heads K. Ramalingeswara Rao and B. Srinivasa Rao, and vigilance officer Anil Kumar. All staff members from the regional office and various branches actively participated in the event.

In connection with the celebrations, the UBI also organised quiz competitions, plantation drives, and various games at different locations.
