VOFAN, the illustrator of the Monogatari Series light novels, recently lent their skills to indie game studio LightWitch to draw an illustration of its “studio icon” Clara.

Clara is, as seen in the artwork and as described in VOFAN’s words, a “cute little witch.”

LightWitch was founded in December 2024 and says that it is revealing its first game next week. The Guadalajara-based outfit says that it is “focused on handcrafting experiences that resonate beyond any frontier.”

Among VOFAN’s other contributions this year is Welcome to the Dragon’s Wing!, a two-volume novel series from Alexandre Sanchez that will be published in French and English by Myria Editions. The fantasy tale will follow a young merchant called Ysha who “dreams to run a magic artefacts shop in a world who doesn’t need it anymore.”

In September, the Original Character Showcase 2025 art contest announced that the Taiwanese illustrator would be participating as one of its judges.

Earlier this year, VOFAN joined the “fan community” PIXIV FANBOX. Their most recent post there, titled Summer evening, was published in July and showcased an illustration that started as a drawing class assignment.
