NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) — A vehicle that is suspected to have been involved in a deadly hit-and-run in New Castle, Delaware, has been located, police announced on Friday.

Police said the suspected vehicle was identified as a white Chevrolet Equinox. It was found unoccupied and recovered at a residence. Officials did not release the address where the vehicle was located.
The fatal crash happened on a very narrow shoulder through one stretch of Route 13 in New Castle around 8 p.m. on Monday.
Police say EMTs found the pedestrian dead under the train tracks, right near the intersection of Pulaski and South DuPont Highway.
The victim has been identified 38-year-old Antonio Almanza-Leon, of New Castle, Delaware.
Investigators are looking for witnesses, including anyone who may have dash camera or surveillance footage from the area around the time of the crash.
In the last five years, eight pedestrians have been struck along Route 13 in New Castle. Two of the victims were killed.
