The Bandai Namco Filmworks Channel has released a clip from the upcoming Toritsukare Otoko anime movie.
It previews protagonist Giuseppe (voiced by idol Masaya Sano) performing the number “Giuseppe’s Theme.”
Toritsukare Otoko is an adaptation of the novel by Shinji Ishii, which was first released in 2001 by Billiken, and is set for a November 7 JST release. Giuseppe is the titular Toritsukare Otoko, who is given the moniker by the townsfolk as he pays undivided attention to whatever fascinates him at the moment. The story depicts the romance between him and the balloon seller Pechka, with Giuseppe trying to resolve her worries with the help of the many skills he has picked up as well as Cielo, a rat whom Giuseppe is able to communicate with.
The Toritsukare Otoko book later received a bunkoban release from Shinchosha in 2006.
