Get ready, because this Christmas, there’s a young (and hot) killer Santa rolling into town. Director Mike P. Nelson crafts a gonzo contemporary take on the cult classic, Silent Night, Deadly Night, featuring a dashing Rohan Campbell as our sympathetic killer who brings the violence to a small town.
In Nelson’s take on the cult classic:
After witnessing his parents’ brutal murder on Christmas Eve, Billy transforms into a Killer Santa, delivering a yearly spree of calculated, chilling violence. This year, his blood-soaked mission collides with love, as a young woman challenges him to confront his darkness. “Have you been naughty?”

Dread Central’s Mary Beth McAndrews reviewed the film out of Fantastic Fest 2025, and wrote:
“With Silent Night, Deadly Night, Nelson further proves himself as a director unafraid to get a little weird with his movies. Sure, this is pure campy schlock, but that’s what you want from a movie about a serial killer dressed as Santa. Nelson just puts his own unique (and very 2025) spin on it that makes our killer a soft boy and the overall story one full of romance, rather than pure dread. And yet, it all comes together to create something weird, wild, and a lot of fun.“
Campbell stars in the film with Ruby Modine, Mark Acheson, David Lawrence Brown, and David Tomlinson.
Silent Night, Deadly Night comes to theaters on December 12, 2025.
